The room-saving, Computer Tomograph operates with a number of possible different X-Ray tubes. 160 kV for Plastics, Composites and up to 225kV for light metal applications, larger parts of compound materials, and high dense material technologies.

The CT-ALPHA is equipped with variable spot/detector distance for maximizing the penetration capabilities of the x-ray beam. The CT-ALPHA offers HELICAL scanning for one-step Acquisition of (in principle) arbitrarily long volumes of measurement! Using the 50 micron pixelsize of a Flat Screen Detector, the online reconstruction provides a resolution in the 1 micron range on small parts. It is ideal for non- destructive testing and metrology applications where internal geometry measurement is critical.
